OK, the one thing I take issue with is Adventure Comics 4, or rather, the comment in the Amazing review that Amazing is better because it's set in the "real world." HEY! Superboy Prime's world IS the real world! That's why he's sitting there reading this week's books! I understand how it can be confusing for new readers and hard to follow in spots because they give almost no background information, but still - I enjoyed the homage to the Twilight Zone with the all powerful boy who scares his family into submission.

As a DCU newbie I was unaware that his world is the 'real world' rather than just another world.
On a larger scale that is one of the things I like about Marvel more so that DC is that it is a bit more grounded.
I say 'grounded' for lack of a better word. Realistic certainly applies to neither.

And I guess that's why I prefer DC - it's more fantastic and sci-fi oriented.
